I am a PhD student at North Carolina State University, co-majoring in Entomology and Biology. I study Venus flytrap (Dionaea muscipula) in its native habitat to learn how carnivorous plants may reconcile the potential conflict between attracting both pollinators and prey.
I received my B.S. in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. My undergraduate thesis focused on changes in the timing of butterfly emergence in North Carolina.
